Stanley Manager
If we go up is there any chance we would get a more experinced manager, to keep up is league 2. in my view i think coley has took us far enough and if we got into league 2 then i think we may come back down.
what do you think? |

Why get rid of the most successful manager stanley have had in recent times. What can you say to back up that he has took us far enough? |

Re: Stanley Manager
I personally think we could do a hell of a lot worse than Coley.
If it's not broke, don't fix it!:) |
Re: Stanley Manager
Thnx spud my friend. coley is really good but if we wanted to go firther in the legues we could do with anothe rmanger if we go down next year if we went up, but thats my opnion and i respect cafu`s aswell.

Re: Stanley Manager
Alot of people said he took us as far as he can when we got promoted from the unibond.
Hmmm |
Re: Stanley Manager
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking the question and responses should be measured. I personally don’t think there’s anything to worry about in terms of management capacity.
JC is equipped with everything we need in a league 2 manager. Same goes for Mr Bell. Temperament might be an issue until the club as stamped its credentials on the league other than that I think the only question we should perhaps ask is does he have sufficient funding to back himself and the team up. |
Re: Stanley Manager
I strongly disagree with the coley has taken us as far as he can comment..Coley hasn't managed us in the league yet so how can a comment like this be made...Bemusing  ..

Re: Stanley Manager
My point exactly :)

Re: Stanley Manager
Although I can see the merits of the question, just look at what Coley, J.B. and Paul Cook have done in recent years. They already have plenty of experience of taking on league one teams and beating them at their own gaffe (a la Bradford City) holding other league one teams at their own place in the FA Cup eg Bournemouth and beating others at our place eg Huddersfield and that was before we were a conference team. So the question as I see it is irrelevant. Give the guys a break and let them get on with the job in hand i.e. promotion and lets not give any more air time to this negativity.
p.s. before someone gets on my case, I know Paul Cook wasn't around at the time of the FA cup run! I thank you |

Re: Stanley Manager
So there we are, the general feeling amongst us is that OUR colley is more than fit for and deserves a right good crack at div 2.
As far as i'm concerned point closed. Let's not forget though good people that without differing oppinions we wouldn't have conversations...so let the new arrivals on the forum have a voice and not just shout them down.:) |
Re: Stanley Manager
shout em down..Saddam Hussein had a differing opinion on how shi'ites should be handled!!
|
Re: Stanley Manager
No Way
Coley = King :D Coley + A Bunch Of Talented Players = League 2 Football :engsmil: |
Re: Stanley Manager
Graham Souness? OH that guy with the Midas touch but in reverse!
I will stick with what we've got thank you, after all Coley still has one more season contract & with his team will be ample a match in Div 2. |
Re: Stanley Manager

Re: Stanley Manager
Sorri people i also put it into the wrong text aswell, i really want coley to stay at stanley although i want stanley to do well and if that means bringing a new manager in so be it but coley to stay he is really good and i think he could take us a long way but if stanley dont stay in league 2 then i dont know , thats what i was on about but coley will stay hopefully
