Hereford fans are only expected to.. Its their level of mentality you see what too much sheep bothering does to you... Everyones been waiting for a Stanley defeat since Oct 5th - at least we gave em a 6 month wait - better than any chuffer else can do in this league....

I'm inclined to agree that there may be an element of truth there. Much has been made of the Hereford incident (and was never a penalty let alone a sending off), but I think it has put a little more wobble in the jelly. The result at Hereford was not a problem but the manner in which the points slipped away and the subsequent arguments, rightly or wrongly, have put the wrong kind of fire in our belly.

Wrong kind of snow, leaves or fire it don't matter, tonight has gone now and we must look forward to a difficult trip to York. Cliche city again I know, but a big game is just what we need now. Maybe this defeat will serve to remind us that their is much work to be done yet.

And I apologise for taking a Welsh view in my first paragraph. I'd love Hereford to get within a point of us and then blow it themselves in the last game. At least its getting exciting again!

ExLandlord HUFC 21-03-2006 22:33

Re: Is it true...

Macca - you must have expected a bulls INVASION on here tonight. It is still yours to lose, but until the fat lady etc... the season continues.

BTW, I've watched the penalty incedent on conftv over and over including slowmos and freeze frame and I reckon the ref got it right. Overall, the result at our place was probably about right. A lot is going to depend on how your boys handle the pressure (and themselves) from now on. York ain't a good place to be going!

By the way, we put one more than you lot past Burton! Also look on your own fans site at the photos you lot posted. As it happened, I was booked on to go today, I was about 5 minutes late and the coach had already gone. One of the few times I'm late and the coach doesn't wait 1/2 hour. I was actually there when the game got called off, so don't go slagging me off for missing a few games. I could count the games I've missed on 1 hand

That happened to me at halifax diesel...it is gutting isn't it!! A big game is what we need after this defeat. Hopefully its the stanley who keep the ball on the deck and play football which would rip any conference team apart i.e exeter..We are still 11 points clear with one more played..Hereford have a derby with kiddy on saturday and then away at morecambe..Both you may win but both will be very interesting ties...

Can you see where you call in the juke box hall
When the music played
And the world sang rounds to a pretty sound
No sorrow base

And them blue swede shoes, they will scream and shout
I guess they sing the blues, let it all hang out

Rock and ro-o-oll, rock and roll
Rock and ro-o-oll, rock and roll
Rock and ro-o-oll, rock and roll
Rock and roll, rock, rock and roll
Rock and roll, rock, rock and roll

Little Queenie popped in my high school rock
Dancin' to the beat
With the U.S. male and a pony tail
She looked so sweet

Times have changed in the past but we won't forget
Though the age has passed they'll be rockin' yet

Rock and ro-o-oll, rock and roll
Rock and ro-o-oll, rock and roll
Rock and ro-o-oll, rock and roll
Rock and roll, rock, rock and roll
Rock and roll, rock, rock and roll
Rock and roll, rock, rock and roll
