Deduct points from Stanley!!!

I went to the game yesterday after reading on the official website that " No problems expected" and " This afternoon's match against Grays Athletic is expected to go ahead without a problem". However despite these promises there was a problem in that we failed to win.

I've contacted the FA and the Conference requesting Stanley be deducted 97 zillion points for this breach of contract. I know this may seem harsh, but standards must be maintained.

Re: Deduct points from Stanley!!!

What I dont understand is why Alty fans seem to think they signed him from us? He was on trial wasnt he.. played a couple of games in reserves on trial and never signed for us.. so how could he have been signed from us...

We will get 0 points deducted.. 100% written in stone :)

With Altrincham just six points above the Conference's bottom-two, any possible points deduction could have a bearing on the relegation issue.

We take the best player off them, then the Conference take 6pts off them after getting a player from us, that would be the best rivalry ever, could you just imagine the Alty boards they made enough fuss about Craney this would be hilarious. :D

Sorry mate, but you are wrong, if they got relegated by this it would be anything BUT funny, if they got relegated by having the worst points total then fine, I'd laugh too

But this is just bollocks:confused:

Re: Deduct points from Stanley!!!

If this guy hadn't signed forms, then isn't he classed as a triallist -- like the lad who turned out for Burnley reserves last year. The one whose name was mis-spelled on the team sheet and scored two or three goals? Got to say, this needs clearing up asap, the nerves are bad enough with normal day-to-day things!

Also, if anyone has motored down to Forst Green before, what's the best tip for lazy parking? The website mentions a nearby college car park, or street parking. Any other ideas?

oops wrong thread...... no its not.. i knew i had seen the question :)

Plenty of parking available in near colledge.. I went furthur up and street parkign is in a nice upmarket estate... been twice in car..
theres a town or village with a chip shop that gives you so many chips ya cant eat them.. theres only one pub and thats posh.. no even a juke box
ground is up a very very big steep hill... but the clubhouse it top notch.. 50pence to get in but its better than the pub..

On street parking right outside the ground if you are early enough.

Thanks very much Jeff and Mr K. Sounds different to Droylesden then! I understand from the Forest Green site that the pub at the ground reserves the right to refuse entry to visiting supporters if there is likely to be a large away following -- suppose they will have a better idea on that after tomorrow night!

We have been in the Club House both times we have been, a bit like a Unibond ground - the windows look out directly onto the pitch.

I'm thinking about Morecambe. I'll have to see how it goes in work first.

FGR is another matter. It'd mean taking time off work, which I can't officially do. If Hereford lose tomorrow I might feel a sicky coming on, if there's room on the coach. ;)
