Ronald Todd Half back
Born Bellshill, Lanarkshire 4th October 1935

played for Accrington Stanley from 1956 to 1960

signed from Lesmahagow, signed for Stanley 1st feb 1956

played 5 games

Yep, it's in "Accrington Stanley - a Complete Record 1894-1962". See my review of it on t'fishy site for more details. It's long out of print though, but you're quite welcome to borrow my copy. Will PM you about it.

:egged:I am trying to find out any information on Ronnie Todd who played for Accrington Stanley 1957 I was in the R.A.F. with him at West Kirby, and really enjoyed his company. Would like to find out how his life turned out after his national servicedays.

So happy to see Stanley back in the league, I love teams with proper names. My main team is Tottenham Hotspur another team with a proper name!! I would really love to see both teams meet in the near future, it would be a dream come true.

Hi Noodles, if you,re a Tottenham fan are you aware that they got one of their best center halves from Stanley? In 1955 they signed John Ryden for just over 8000 quid. You couldn,t get a ball boy for that now!!

Possibly not for most Spurs fans, if it's a league match .....:rolleyes:
