Paul Cook testimonial

:not_ripe: Anyone know if the Paul Cook testimonial next tuesday is all ticket, or can you pay on the gate?
I know it says on the Club Web site that tickets are on sale at the Club Shop this week, but it does'nt say whether you can pay on the night.

Paul Cook was 'best man' to my friends George & Carol Gibbons at their wedding. Any info would be really helpful because George would like to get back in touch with Paul C and George would like to be at the testimonial.:)

Re: Paul Cook testimonial

 thats worked out a bit higher than normal gate price despite the £2 shave off normal adult gate & yet higher on the under 12's gate entrance:confused: so thats costing me £2 more than a regular match day:confused:

So the under 12's are penalised for the rests cut:rolleyes: i have 2 under 12's :(

it will be good , ian wrights playing and great other players from the old burnley side , them players made burnley an alright squad but now theyve lost all of there great players now and so i dont think there an alright side really (well i think so) (my opinion really)

Never bought a ticket for a Stanley game before. Why are there 2 stubs attached, one with £10 and one with £5 stamped on?
Is one a pass-out?

John_Timmins 28-04-2006 15:13

Re: Paul Cook testimonial

probably so they dont have to print two sets of tickets for kids and adults just only give kuds the hal stubs but give the adults both the stubbs :)

Re: Paul Cook testimonial

Is there any news on the situation yet rob or karen regarding all ticket or pay on the gate???

Seeing as i guess you will have already have the numbers of the tickets sold as surely they arent being sold today or tommorrow being bank holiday?

If it is still all ticket where can we get the tickets from before tuesday?

It was a good night - great turn out, shame Burnley won Stanley think 8-5 [i lost count at one point cos the Burnley crowd weren't as noisey as us lot lol] at the end at one point we were drawing them after half time. Mangan Played his sock off - bless & blimey Paul Cook has been training hehehehe:D .

Nice one to the ultra's who kept the noise level up with some interesting renditions:D made it a fun enjoyable night & great sports. Hope Cook enjoyed his night - he seemed to have lol.

Tried to look on the Burnley FC website and you have to register before you can even view their actual website!

Re: Paul Cook testimonial

I doubt any info will be on there. they didn't even advertise the game As far as I know

Attendence wasn't announced.. I asked mick and big frank after the game and neither knew...

Ian Wright.. Pulled out at 5.30pm to go watch his son play at Balckburn... thats the story I was told.. it doesn't sound right as surely he has known all along that chelsea where playing..

Sounds about right... stands where packed and sparse rest of ground. If Burnley had advertised it there may have been more... I am told there where fans there from far and wide.. all I saw was a mass of claret... Nice to see the Accy and Burnley join in song.. somehting about blackburn? :)

It was brilliant to see Russell Payne and my old mate Paul Haworth (even if he was playing for t'other side) again. Bertie Bee coming on in a Stanley shirt - that was class - hmm wonder who that was!

it was great to see some of the past players on and off the pitch...... it's always the same ones that return, which is nice.

It was a good turn out, and a good laugh!!!
