Must admit that, when he first came here, I groaned every time he came on the field. That 'sublime left foot' seemed to have been long gone.... However, the occasional magic touch evened the balance, & his shouting at the guys around him often seemed to make a difference.

From what I can gather, he is doing a lot more for us as a coach than a player, & for that, we shall be eternally grateful to one of the guys that got us where we will be next season!

Saying that, I hope to be there on Tuesday, to pay my respects to the man!

Paul Cook is very down to earth, nice approachable person. As with what Kitchener said about his playing ability at stanley he had lost some of his touch on the ball as he was at Burnley, but he commanded respect by being a team player, shouting & firing up the other players of the team, seemed made up the diffference so not surprisingly he is coaching the team.

Seems this has helped the team tremendously with his abilities & his experience with Burnley has made him into a good coach - to which has certainly helped to get Stanley back into the football league by getting the best out of our players on the pitch.

I think he's found his football niche now & long may he continue to be a vital part of the team & the clubs future.

Respect & Many Thanks!:D

Hope to be there tuesday eve.:not_ripe:

An inspiration to the younger players, he's been and done what they are all dreaming of, and knows how to do it best. He was a great player and is becoming a great coach, long may it continue :)

I think it would be much better to use pseudonyms.
