What places are you looking forward to and why

Walsall
Been past the place so many times & looks a neat compact "real" football ground. Its probably atrocious & has had bad press but never thought Stanley would be playing there.

Rochdale/Bury
Definately looking forward to the derbies because hopefully we're taking a thousand supporters. Definately public transport day, bus to football....

What else fellow supporters?

I prefer long away trips and weekends than derbies... Please stay up Torquay :)

Id have to say the local games for a start Bury, Macclesfield, stockport, rochdale.


A weekend in Bristol also sounds appealing.

will miss the trip to Morcambe tho lol

Darlington - 25k all seater

then look back at the stadiums we have been to, bamber bridge, ossett, burscough etc

Shows how far the club have come in a very short time :D

I haven't even thought about next season. It hasn't sunk in yet that we've been promoted.

And 23k untouched by human posterior every week. They recently tried to sell Carlisle a load of the seats but as they were red we didn't take them up on the offer.

It deserves it's nickname 'The White Elephant Stadium'.

Turf Moor, Ewood Park and Old Trafford in the League Cup. Oh and Wembley for the LDV final :D

Seriously, the local derbies produce some mouth watering games in prospect. Get yourself on the 364 to Rochdale!!!

I'll be on the 464 mate, it's quicker. I'm not too sure where the 364 goes?

I'm looking forward to Wrexham - for their new ground that nearly crippled them, and a guy I used to work with lives there now.

Walsall - like Willie said, we go past there frequently and the visible stand is impressive looking. Can you imagine the look on the faces of the Brummies that sit in there every week if they get us first game away! The Bus Stop will look particularly poor to them.

Rochdale and Bury - Close by, can be home for tea, travelling by Public Transport will be a throwback to the Chorley and HOrwich days, and seeing 2000 away fans from Stanley (hopefully).

Ahem.

We're from the Black Country and we get more than a bit miffed if people call us brummies!

Bescot isn't too bad for away fans, although the supports holding the roof up at that end can cause visibility problems.
Away fans are allowed into the Saddlers Club next to the ground for a couple of quid, and the beer's cheap.

As for your ground, I'm sure we can take whatever cr@p facilities you can throw at us - we've survived Chesterfield after all.

Do the fans at the top of the stand still shout 'Moo!' when a black and white Wiseman's Dairy lorry passes along the M6? They'd get on well with us lot!

I'm not really sure. With our performances this season, it's been difficult to tell the 'moos' from the 'boos'.

What a muppet. Where would we sell you these seats from exactly? Take half the seats out of the stadium so half of it is seatless? just to sell to you? That would look even stupider than 4/5,000 people rattling around in the stadium.

As I live over 200 miles from Accrington and cannot get to too many home matches, I am mainly looking forward to the games closest to me - Swindon Town, Barnet, Walsall (can stay with my sister), Hereford if they win the play offs (another stay with my sister !),Bristol Rovers, Boston United and Peterborough United (can stay with relatives in Spalding for both matches), Shrewsbury Town (used to work there many moons ago),Notts County (assuming they stay up) and best of all Torquay, assuming that they stay up, where we could make a nice weekend of it !!! :) :) :)

Whichever matches we go to, it will be a great thrill just to see Stanley back in the League and I am certainly hoping to attend their first match of the season, regardless of where it is.

GO STANLEY GO !!!!

I`m just looking forward to the season starting full stop, it will ne nice to go to the local rivals like bury stockport rochdale , but it will all depend on the last game of the season as i think any one from eight teams could go down with rushden, and a few of them could be ones near to us, so hopefully it will be either barnet or oxford that go down.

Gigg Lane Bury should be a good un, local and a tidy ground also the fans are ok, a number of local pubs welcome away fans i will publish them when the fixture draws near.

Walsall - Its a fairly new ground built approx 8 years ago the old ground is now a Morrisons.

Give us a green to the premier league.
