Re: Contracts for next season

been very impressed with boyds performances think he will be a very good player in the league next year if we can get him to sign on again!

sparkie 03-05-2006 09:59

Re: Contracts for next season

Procky was offered a 2 year deal when we went full time at the beginning of 2004/5 season, he may have signed an extension but I'm not sure

FC. 03-05-2006 15:25

Re: Contracts for next season

i asked him about 4months ago and he said he had another year after this season

sparkie 04-05-2006 14:12

Re: Contracts for next season

Good stuff it's what i like to hear, procky 's a good enough player and young enough to make the step up.

Nice to hear he's gonna be with us.

Re: Contracts for next season

With a good few additions we should be able to cope well next season

I think boyd is a good player, he has a good football brain and just gets on with his job, good first touch, tackling and passing.

I suspect we will find out the players that are leaving soon. Hope most of them can be kept but if we want to bring players in we cannot keep all of this years on as well, thats football unfortunately.

Re: Contracts for next season

Dont want to sound like a creepy crawler here but I cant think of one single player I would get rid of... Additions yes but no one I would wanna see go.,

John_Timmins 05-05-2006 15:43

Re: Contracts for next season

Paul Cook hes too old ;) hehehehe :D

Totally agree with you kipax but think coley will have to make some tough judgements

In my opinion i think we will see jaggers and browny leave

FC. 05-05-2006 15:56

Re: Contracts for next season

Brown has another year so the only way he would leave is through being transfer listed or we pay out his contract. There is also mutual consent but i doutb he would agree to that.

John_Timmins 05-05-2006 17:48

Re: Contracts for next season

well got one of them right see official site jaggers and alcock gone

zayno14 05-05-2006 17:59

best wishes to them both....:)

Re: Contracts for next season

Not altogether surprised about Danny - not that I think he should go - but he deserves to be playing regularly and he knows thats not gonna happen at Stanley. Gutted that Jags has gone, just wish we'd have known on Saturday or even Tuesday then we coud've said goodbye properly. Good luck to the both of them

Re: Contracts for next season

We need a few good additions that have alreday played in the league

Re: Contracts for next season

Sorry to hear about jaggers and Danny leaving. It's a shame that Danny got injured when he did and didn't get the chance to maybe show what he could do....

Good luck to you both :)

This leaves us a bit short in the "Goalkeeper" category. Should we read into this decision that the management team is confident they will be able to keep Mr. Elliott in a Stanley shirt for next season?

Re: Contracts for next season

looks like Todd is definitely on the retained list then, a bit light on the right hand side if Jaggers has gone. Good luck Steve and Danny (should have had more games)

Nice one TM, Conference season finishes 23rd May.

Is this a first for the official site, BTW? Or did I miss it in the Observer?

Good luck to Steve and Danny, both 100% all the time.

Re: Contracts for next season

I gave you all a clue as to who was leaving... I did 3 paragraphs and each one had 2 smaller letters in, put the 2 letters together, what to you get, a DA a SJ and a .... ;)

Re: Contracts for next season

After re reading your cryptic post i take it its Liam Richardson.

According to an unofficial Halifax site, Jaggers is being linked with Halifax and Northwich: http://www.shaymenonline.org/sol2/news.php?id=908.

It looks like Jaggers has signed for Droylsden who have also resigned Jody Banim: http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/i...FULL&nid=36070

Re: Contracts for next season

According to them he's a defender!!! he might be able to play as a defensive midfielder or even a right back at a push but I'd never have said he's a defender. He started off his career as a striker!!!

AccyMad 11-07-2006 16:04

Re: Contracts for next season

Good luck to Jaggers but I would have thought he was better than conference north level

sparkie 11-07-2006 17:00

Re: Contracts for next season

yeah me too and he's still having to travel a lot too, which was his 'reason' for leaving us.
