Bit of a coincidence, Jase, but on Saturday morning , October 29th 2005 , while my taxibus was parked at Outlane, Huddersfield, I saw the entire Swindon squad plus coaches setting off for a jog from their hotel (The Old Golf House , if it's important) .

As they trotted past me I was really surprised by how small they all were .

You probably remember when we first arrived in the Conference how big all our opponents seemed to be (Woking, in particular) so , even though Stanley had not yet hit their "purple patch", I took comfort from knowing that the players didn't necessarily grow bigger as you went up the pyramid !

And, as you say, here we are on the verge of meeting a pretty prestigious side as equals .

Marvellous !

(And , in case you were wondering , the result that day was :- Huddersfield Town 1 - 1 Swindon Town )
