anyone know wat happened to the guy??? thought he was playing but didnt turn up ! still great macth though but would of been great to see him play! his son was playing for chelsea against blackburn last night so might have gone and watched him ?? i dont know?? anybody??

I know what you mean. The whole advertising campaign leading up to the match was about Ian Wright. In the LET the headline was It will be all Wright on the night. Many made the decision to come to the game on the basis that he was playing. And as far as Cooky goes "I'm made up that Wrighty is coming because I don't think he plays in these sort of games very often"

Dissapointing to say the least.

He could have turned up & played 10 minutes or so and still gone to Ewood afterwards, I for one wasn't bothered neither him or Gazza turned up - I only went to see our past players on the pitch again.
