Bloody Hereford vs Bloody Halifax

which is the lesser of two evils?

I didn't ever want to say cos of all the ******* they brought this year but come on Halifax. Only because its only 45 mins away and I prefer the away end at Halifax to the shed at Hereford.

Why do so many people here seem to hate Hereford so much ?

They deserve to be back in the League after their efforts over the last three seasons !:)

Have you ever had the pleasure of visiting Edgar Street? It is a distinctly wretched place, particularly for away fans. I felt for Morecambe in more ways than one last night. God forbid Hereford go up, if only because of their terrible away fans' facilities which boast stinky toilets, giant concrete pillars obscuring everyone's view and also a mysterious 'no-go' area, where it it rumoured Edgar Street could fall down should anyone set foot in the steward infested toxic zone.


If Halifax go up maybe they will be able to sort out their 'half-built main stand. Should that be completed, The Shay will be a desirably place to go next season and on the playing side of things I know a few people who believe they were the best team that played Stanley this season.

i would say Halifax as its a close drive away but also hereford for not getting promoted a couple of seasons go. Make the best team win :)

It was the most amazing game .... absoloutly enthralling... massive atmosphere helped by early goals, the good away following who never stopped singing, the animated managers and oooer... just a brilliant game to be at I can assure you..even as a nuetural.

Seriously, im really undecided who i want to win the play-off's, no doubt Hereford deserve it, but i can't stand thier arrogent fans, and thier consistant moaning about EVERY desicion that happens to go against them
Then there's Halifax, a good ground, a good team, but the factoir is that they are Yorkshire, which is a big tick in the "No" box ......
May the best team win 14th May at Stoke :D

I hope Halifax go up, no trouble with their fans, and a fantastic away end. Would be another good local derby to look forward to.

When we drew with you in march (2-2) we played "hoofball", we were "dirty" and "cheated"

Try going back to all the newspaper reports after the Edgar Street game and I think you'll find it was Fat Boy Coleman who was doing all the moaning about the refs decisions. They do say, if you work with children long enough you end up behaving like one - remind me, how long was he a teacher?

Even though i think Hereford will probably edge it i would rather see Halifax go up, as already mentioned the Street is an awefull place, why cant fans go behind the other goal ?, i thought the first time i went it was because they thought we wouldn't bring many fans so put us in a sh*t stand, but after going again this season i realised thats where all away fans are made to suffer.
I went on the 606 board after i got back and all it was was Hereford fans moaning about the things already mentioned in a previous post, i personally think we were robbed of all 3 pts that game but they just seemed to think that we were dirty and cheated and moaned about it right upto the end of the season saying how we weren't good enough to deserve league football etc etc, so just for a lot of their fans being kn*bs i`m going for Halifax, plus its not as far to drive.
