England v Wales

1-1, according to the BBC, with Scotland beating Ireland 2-1. So it looks as if England will win the championship if we beat Scotland by at least as good a result as Wales get against Ireland, although we could get away with less if Wales don't win.

There's a match report at http://www.thefa.com/England/Nationa...ort_250506.htm. It looks like Ian started and had a good game before being substituted on 83 minutes. Gary didn't start but came on for the last quarter of an hour.

England beat Scotland 2-0 today (Saturday) but it wasn't enough to overtake Wales who had already beaten Ireland 3-0. The BBC had the Welsh score as 2-0 but I'm more inclined to believe http://www.thefa.com/England/Nationa...ur_nations.htm.
