An Unveiling Ceremony ? Just a thought.

When ASFC were promoted from the Unibond Premier to the Conference I remember how proud I was to see the "Nationwide Conference" sign go up at the main entrance - and I'm not even an Accringtonian by birth.

So I can only try to imagine how much Stanley's return to the Football League means to the town and its population.

I know that sponsorship deals have to be signed and delivered before the start of the Season , but I really do hope that the Club, the Town and the Football League will combine with the media to produce a unique and unforgettable occasion which will include a "grand unveiling ceremony".

Perhaps it's already been arranged . . .

What a beautiful, beautiful sight...and one that I thought I'd never see. Read it, York and Exeter fans and weep!
