According to a Southport fan on confguide Mark Boyd has signed for them this season, anyone know if this is true?

I remember an article saying that Boyd would have to prove his fitness in training to get a contract this season..As we haven't had a pre season game yet i'd be suprised but cooky may have signed him..

Good luck Boydie...He looked better and better evrytime i saw him play..Wasn't really fully fit so we didn't see the best of him as he only joined late season..

His first game for us was against southport i think and he got pulled off after about 60 mins coz he wasn't fit, however to that point he'd played quite well.
