Re: Season Tickets

They're usually ready a week or so before the start of the season, no matter when you pay for it.

Re: Season Tickets

The printers got them to Stanley about three weeks ago.

We had this trouble at Shrewsbury for a few years. It's a new Secretary now, and things have speeded up no end. I can't believe we've got you on a tuesday night, I'm going to struggle to make it now, and I was really looking forward to it.

Re: Season Tickets

I was at the club today and asked the very same question. Apparently they are looking to have them ready sometime between the Blackburn and Blackpool matches for collection. They could not answer the question of postal dates yet.

Re: Season Tickets

As long as you've got them before the start of the season what are you worrying about?

jaytee 05-07-2006 19:18

Re: Season Tickets

Just as a matter of interest, how many have you sold this year? Is it more than last season? We had sold 1,230 at Shrews, at the last count, that's not boasting, it's our last season at Gay Meadow. I think a lot of people wanted to make sure they saw the last game. Also, I would imagine, there are jealous eyes looking at Coleman, he has done a superb job for you. Have you tied him in?

He signed a two year deal a few weeks ago :)

I really rate the guy. Bags of passion. Ruthless, (which you have to be), AND I would have thought, a good advert for season ticket sales.

He's a brilliant advert - his timeless version of Mack The Knife has to be seen to be believed :D

Re: Season Tickets

Your seating tickets must be awkward. You don't have that many do you? It must restrict the number you can sell.

Are you having a laugh Rob, you've had our cash for ages now and the season tickets for at least a month. I do not have time this week to collect so stop this rubbish and get them in the post tomorrow, have you forgot that on Tuesday night we are walking from Peel Park and won't have time to queue up at the club shop for tickets.
Get your fingers out !!!
Is that blunt enough?

no offense meant but the club do not have to answer things on this un-official message board! If you want an answer im sure they will glady speak to you at the club either over the phone

Life Members and Life Vice Presidents cannot be collected till Monday, I don,t get home to Accrington till well after 6pm on a workday so that means I cannot collect my season ticket till the night of the game - Tuesday. BLOODY RIDICULOUS.

'scuse me if I am missing something, but can't you collect your season ticket on Saturday morning or do you work Saturday's as well, but even if you can't collect till Tuesday, whats the problem, as long as you get it before the game against Darlington, should have no problems

LIFE MEMBERS AND LIFE VICE PRESIDENTS CANNOT COLLECT SEASON TICKETS UNTIL MONDAY. I am a life member so no I cannot collect it on Saturday morning. By the time I get home from work, get changed etc. and pick up the people I take to the game, it's usually the last minute when we arrive at Stanley. I will then have to queue up for my season ticket before I can get into the game. It's not the first season that we have had to collect our season tickets just before the first game, and seeing as they have had the tickets from the printers for over five weeks surely something could have been sorted before now.

Ha ha - shame I didn't see your post before I collected mine this afternoon or I'd have done just that! :p
Glad to see we've gone back to the book style of season ticket as well.

Bagpuss 04-08-2006 21:11

Re: Season Tickets

A stamp wouldn't have been much good as there was no ticket for me even though I paid 3 months ago. For once in my life I just bit my tongue for the sake of the club but unfortunatly I'm now an extra £44 out of pocket and not a happy bunny, at least I now have my season ticket but no new shirt for the Chester game.

Bagpuss 07-08-2006 20:32

Re: Season Tickets

I was up there today buying my new shirt and there was a constant stream of life members arriving to collect their season tickets, now most of these where older members of society and there was plenty of unhappy people along with the usual tales of how it's always like this using the odd swear word when they found their tickets where not ready.
So now I know that it is not just me who had problems, Lee I felt sorry for you today.
