Saturday's Match

Ok Saturday is nearly here. First game in weeks, can’t wait to get back to it friendly or otherwise. Two questions: Is it segregated yet? If it is, can we get a pint at the Clayton End?

when it is segregated theres no bars other than clubhouse and I do believe in the league that will have to close 10 minutes prior to KO and cant open until X amount of time after game ends...

The following is taken from the Official Site
Quote:

1, Segregation of separate areas of the ground.
This is by far the greatest change in recent years to the way in which the stadium operates on a match day. If we play at a higher level next season then supporters will have to remain in the areas which they pay to enter, and as such the stadium will be divided into four standalone sections:
Section A is the West Stand (Sophia Khan Terrace), incorporating the western half of the North Stand (Whinney Hill Terrace). This will have a compound behind the terracing housing catering facilities, a toilet block and a bar. The compound will also have an additional four turnstiles exclusively for this area.
Section B is the South Stand (Main Stand). This is served by four turnstiles which are already linked to our wireless computerised system. The toilets for this area are located in the Sports Bar and a compound is currently being added behind the stand to house a catering facility for the section.
Section C is the East stand (Coppice Terrace). This will have a compound behind the terracing similar to section A, again housing catering facilities and a bar for use by visiting supporters. The compound will have four turnstiles exclusively for this area.
Section D is the eastern half of the North Stand (Whinney Hill Terrace). There are currently already toilets and an area for catering facilities in this section of the ground. As is currently the case visiting supporters will either be allocated Section C or both Section C and D depending on expected numbers. The fencing compounds around the ground will be completed in the next few days, the turnstiles are already on site and building work on the housing structures for these will start this week.
This clearly states that there will be a bar behind the Clayton End and a bar behind the Coppice End. If it is on the OFFICIAL SITE Mr. K. then it is fact.

Surely it can't be segregated because, as far as I'm aware, the toilet facilities still haven't been installed at the Clayton End...or do we all have to bring rolled-up newspapers? ;)

spoke to Eric yesterday, non of the friendly matches will be segregated. so the Clubhouse bar open as normal. the portacabin bar's had not arrived as of yesterday, but the toilets were in situ at the Clayton end.
