Rochdale Match Programme 06/07 - Help Required
Hello,
I am the editor of Rochdale AFC’s match programme. Every season we try to involve as many opposing supporters as possible in the programme and I am putting out an appeal now for the new campaign, especially as I'm trying to get as many articles as I can done in advance of the season starting. I have picked some players who have appeared for Rochdale and all the other League Two clubs in their career. I've got a Dale fan to give his views on them from our side, so I was hoping one of your fans would be able to give me the opinions on the players I’ve chosen from your club. (listed at the bottom of this post). This should provide an interesting feature as someone who we hated might be one of your top five players! If some of the players are 'before your time', perhaps fans could seek the views of elder supporters? I'm hoping to complete this article in the next few weeks as it makes life much easier for me if I can do as much of the programme as possible before the season starts. Therefore, I'd be very grateful for replies as soon as possible. Could all replies please be emailed to [email protected] Thanks as always Mark Wilbraham ACCRINGTON Ged Brannan Mike Ferguson Lee McEvilly David Gray |

Quote:
Ged - was only here for a short time; top geezer who lost his legs towards the end of his stay here (not literally of course) Ferguson - not sure on this but wasn't he the one who scored our last league goal? Ask one of the wrinklies on that one. Evil - Tenacious forward; a fans favourite until we play against him I'm sure. Very physical & has the eyes of lucifer himself. David Gray - Decent forward here a few seasons ago; now a male model I believe  |

Would you like any information on any current players?
I know it's a crazy idea but it might just work. |

Mr Wilbraham...
I can only help you with Ged and Evil.. Ged - An intelligent player but didn't have the fitness to keep on putting in the performances we needed from a centre midfielder. Maybe that was because he was getting on a bit. McEvilly - A good player who scared defenders by running at them with the ball. Scored many vital goals and set up a lot but if he learns to be more of a team player he could hack it at the higher leagues. As a teacher at my school i felt obliged to help you ;) Zayn |

Agreed, but Ged seems to be doing the job at Morcambe now withg the energy he seemed to lack here .....
