Re: A.S.F.C.Supporters Club Meeting

I am a member of an ex serviceman association and I log in to the website and click on next meeting, low and behold a full list of the minutes of the next meeting, there is the answers to all the questions asked and a full acount of the previous meeting, I am sure it takes time to put it on but once you've got a template how hard is it?
I can email a question, vote and have an input in to whats happening, I am sure Accrington Stanley SC can come up with that.

Simple fact is... the OSC is too secretive.. they dont even let memmbers know whats going on let alone non members.. thats the problem... full stop! There commitment, hard work and dedication can not be questioned in my opinion.. they work hard with only one aim.. and thats to do good for the club... no one is suggesting otherwise as far as I can see.... the only problem is and the reason why so many wont be renewing membership.. is the secrecy.... its worse than the bleeding masons :)

I know that I said that my previous post was my last word on the subject, but I also said that the bloodysupporters club website didn't have the facility to post things on it and that I would try to get it changed, so don't keep coming up with the same points Please.

Nowhere in my original post did I say I was a spokesman for the OSC.

Members want more than an 8 quid badge..

I totally agree with you !

They want at the very minimum to know whats going on.. to even suggest data protection stops you letting members know whats happening is ludicrous

They want the ability to vote on things or know what the agenda of a meeting will be..

Members who can get there but are undecided want to know the agenda..

All thats happening at the moment is total secrecy

data protection ? sorry but....guffaw!!! :)

I can honestly remember a SC meeting where all of your points re letting members know what was happening was discussed, and am positive that Data Protection was considered a problem............as I have already said I have asked Henry Morton to double check this, and am hoping He wil clarify asap as He was the secretary at the time.

Further, I notice that yet again YOU seem only to pick on one area of my post, rather than looking at it as a whole, if you are so bloody concerned about the way things are run then get off your high horse and attend the next meeting and help to get things changed..as previously stated it takes more than one or two to get things moving in the right direction.

eeerm yes it does and henry changes it whenever he wants.. takes 2 minutes to add/edit any single page on that website... so please stop telling everyone it doesnt have the facilities when i went to all the trouble to make those facilities for the supporters club... ta :)

still think we should have a news letter with all affialated supporters clubs on it .starting with peel park crown ground walk .. the more people that know about it the better so they dont feel left out .i.e. put it on the poster off the fishy site .:)
