hahaha behave yourself.... are they heck as like :)
I am guessing.. and purely because its a BIG money thing... as soon as they are available that will be all over front page of official website.... anything that brings money in generally makes the front page pretty damm quick! |
Re: New home shirt
It seems strange that they can get them in Malta, but we can't get them in Accrington !

Re: New home shirt
The new shirts are £40. I'm disappointed that they aren't offering the name and number printing on there.
|
Re: New home shirt
No name & number printing? Grr.
I wanted one that said "Fatso" on the back... :( |
Re: New home shirt
there is the facitlities to print name and number at the clubshop so whether they are providing them again i dont know buti would guess they are but i will probably leave it a few days as it will be busy so wouldnt expect them to be doing printing on a match day or the first day they are available :)

I did email the shop a couple of days ago asking about putting names & numbers on shirts ordered via the internet (what with me living down south, etc), but they have yet to reply. Maybe they're busy... :) |

Re: New home shirt
I've just got mine from Fraser Eagle shop in town - they were doing a roaring trade. They've got all the staff wearing them and our lovely Frazer the Eagle is there keeping an eye on things :)
|
Re: New home shirt
Just went to pick up mi season ticket and saw lee putting some shirts up i nthe club shop, didn't get chance to ask if they are for sale yet though.
|
Re: New home shirt
:( Still waiting for a baseball cap I ordered back in April. If I order a shirt it should arrive in time for next season. :bangh8:
|
Re: New home shirt
I've just picked up my new expensive  home shirt from worldchoice today ready for tommoz same price as going club shop but a lot less hassle of either awaiting postage or going up there though shame they didnt do the whole club shop selection but least home & away kits are aplenty there plus nice service:D
|
Re: New home shirt
I got mine today also. The staff were very helpful, but Im now not going to move for fear of defacing it. So beautiful.....
|
Re: New home shirt
LOL Alvin its a lot of money to ruin right at the start of the season:eek: pmsl, mines now carefully hung up ready for uniform for tommoz :D
|

Re: New home shirt
I got mine this afternoon, very nice it is too. Im all ready for the trip to Chester tomorrow now :)
|
Re: New home shirt
Mine won't be here for at least 3 weeks...:(
|
Re: New home shirt
Just heard that Stanley might have now got a sponsor for the back of the shirt and it could be on the players' shirts tomorrow, but it's not on the ones at Fraser Eagle.
|
Re: New home shirt
Did you hear who :) would look ok as well.. sport related that it is :)
|
Re: New home shirt
Picked my season ticket up and got the shirt from Stanley store as well, didn't dare ask about printing though - will get the away one when I get a bit more dosh - though it didn't look quite as good in the flesh IMHO, hence home shirt on my back tomorrow

I appreciate they may be busy, but you'd expect a reply within a week, wouldn't you...? |
Re: New home shirt
I can answer most of that.. I made the shop.. Unfortunatly I didnt make it good enough to be able to add something like that (or so I thought).. It can have bits added but the ability to add that was deemed a bit of a no no when asked last season.. yes last season I was asked.. It needed ability to add number (in right range) and lettering (again in range and filtered)
I have since thought of ways it might be added so when ordering online you can choose number and wording.. Unfortunatly all website stuff is on hold ATM until we find out what website will be the fishy one.. seems to be up in the air still. For now I would make your order and when you get confirmation of your order then quote it and email the club.. they will sort you out by email I ma sure and have whatever you need done:) |
Re: New home shirt
I am really pleased with my new shirt - even got printing on the back (first time I've bothered), only thing is it makes my back sweat ew!
|
Re: New home shirt
I drove over yesterday afternoon, they didn’t have my size at the time but the girls at the FE shop where fantastic and organised one before I left for home. Excellent service, excellent product and well worth the 40 quid.

Re: New home shirt
Anybody washed their new shirt yet? Mine has just been hand washed in warm water and the amount of colour that came out was unbelievable, the white bits are now looking pink, this never happened with last seasons shirt and before anyone says I've washed in water that was too hot should have a look at my jeans, now don't tell me last nights rain was 60 degrees.
|
Re: New home shirt
Not washed as yet, but is in the basket. Have always just shuvved my others in the machine. Worried now!
Also, someone suggested yesterday to me not to get the coco cola thing put on the arm as that runs into the shirt. |
Re: New home shirt
kisser...are you having us on ? your worried in case it runs and bits turn PINK? your worried it will or your worried it wont ? :) :)
Julie stoood in the rain on the clayton end last night... took it off when we got home and commented she thought it looked a bit pink the white bits... Well its going in wash today and if doesnt wash out then its back to the shop... 40 quid to be ruined when it rains aint gonna happen no matter how much we love the club :) hmm might not put it in wash only to get blamed for washing it wrong... hmm waddaya fink? |
Re: New home shirt
washed mine with no probs, well I didn't lucy did:p
|
Re: New home shirt
I stood next to Julie last night, it must be that area of the clayton end, funny rain. I would suggest hand washing as it will mix with your other washing and you will be blamed no doubt.
|
Re: New home shirt
mines ok been washed twice now and still looking whiter than white :)
|

Re: New home shirt
I got told it was the cola badge.. but that cant be true.. no way in the rain last night the surredge white bit from collar down would go pink because of cola badge lower down
|
Re: New home shirt
Good point Kipax!! :) But no, Stanley are red and white - those are my colours on a matchday! I can live without the pink twice a week! Will handwash for first time. Not had printing on the back of any of my shirts before so want to keep em white.
|
Re: New home shirt
When I got home last night my white bits had gone pink. I washed it this morning giving it a hand wash in mildly warm water and dried it on the line it’s still a little pink on the Surridge Panel. The writing around the badge is fine and so are the airy bits at the sides.
I don’t think mine is too bad, but I will be a little ****ed off if I have to take it back. |
Re: New home shirt
A thought just occurred to me. Did you pinky people have your scarfs on last night when the roof leaked.
|
Re: New home shirt

I'm blushing - all this talk of peoples white bits :p |

Madam, you should have been there in the rain. The hills beyond the coppice end looked wonderful and you could feel the chemical laden rain running down the back of your neck as the rain fell by the bucket load through that big hole where the roof should be. I think it was one of the best evenings I’ve had at the ground and even though we lost, I think we switched on a warning light for our friends in the North. :) |
Re: New home shirt
Mines pink as well
|
Re: New home shirt
Not good is it? I was going to get one, but I won't bother now. Not until these quality issues are resolved and the sponsorship decals are updated.
|
Re: New home shirt
Any response from the club on this, will a refund be offered if not happy wearing a pink shirt, please let the suppliers be aware of these problems because for £40 it's not good.
|
Re: New home shirt
I think mine might be ok. I've been sat looking it and it looks a tiny bit pink inside the house. However on taking it outside in the sun light it is definitely white.
|
Re: New home shirt
So is letter/number printing available now? If so how much? And is it extra for the fizzy pop thing on the sleeves?
|
Re: New home shirt
The printing is not available until next week, priced at 75p per letter and £2 per number, the coca cola badges are £2 each.
|
Re: New home shirt
will the Fifa 07 sponsorship logo be available as well?
|
Re: New home shirt
I was worried saturday when i wore my new shirt which after the match & no rain turned my under-garment pink when i took it off - put it in wash ready for yesterday with other safe darks & thankfully the white surrage bits stayed white as did the rest of me after a good old lancashire shower at the clayton end <phew>
|
Re: New home shirt
Maybe we should adopt "Bring me sunshine" as our new anthem. ;)

You fellas have got me worried.:( Mine hasn't arrived yet,an should the colours 'run',it'll be to expensive to return. Perhaps I won't wash it....

Re: New home shirt
As its so much per letter then no.. if it was a set price for having a name printed then it could be done.. its not knowing if you want a 3 or 6 letter word or more... or single double number.... too many permutations..
Like I say there may be a way.. but it will take some doing and thats not happening while we dont even know if this site will be the official site for the season... may be using a whole new site.. |
Re: New home shirt
If you don't like it tough but not content with ripping me off an extra £44 for my season ticket I now find I was sold a shirt along with a lot of other fans that will not be the offical shirt that the players will be wearing.
http://fifa07.ea.com/news/?id=8626&ntype=l&delta=1 Now don't tell me nothing was finalized when I bought my shirt 2 days ago, what I want to know is will you exchange my shirt for one with the new logo on, somehow I doubt it. Rob & Sparkie if I feel annoyed with the club I will voice my opinion but I will always follow my team, on Stanley on. |

Re: New home shirt
My shirt has turned pink and its no fifa badge. My mate was sat on the back seat of the car on our trip to Chester in between two new shirts and they have turned his white stanley polo shirt pink on the sleeves without any moisture. Oh the joy.
|
Re: New home shirt
Out of interest has anyone bought one of the Surridge Rain jackets? What do they look like on? Is the quality good?

Re: New home shirt
Blowing in the wind for the 4th time is one new Stanley shirt, it still looks like the theme for Saturday is PINK.
|
Re: New home shirt
To quote Sparkie:
"Accept it the club is going forward whether you like it or not" "WE ARE FOOTBALL LEAGUE NOW" "THIS IS A LEARNING CURVE AND EVERYONE IS GOING TO HAVE TO BE A LITTLE PATIENT" All the above might well be true but the fact is we have been sold a shirt that turns the white bits pink with or without water. The shirt runs into other items of clothing even after 3 or 4 washes and now even though its good for the club we find that the shirt we bought is not the one the players are wearing. Come on admit it if you had bought a shirt from say Woolworths it would have been back to the shop now for a refund or replacement. Even Man Utd with their countless shirt changes have never pulled this stroke with sponsors names. The problem is do you just accept it as a learning curve or do I return the shirt as poor quaility as I have been told quite a few supporters want to do. |
Re: New home shirt
Another point is the coca cola cup badge supposed to be on the shirt anyway???
|
Re: New home shirt
I don't believe the Coca Cola badge is supposed to be there as a default; am I right in thinking that the badge the players wear on their shirts depends on the competition they are playing in at the time? Thus one badge for the League, one for the FA Cup, one for the League cup etc...?
Or have I completely made this up in my head...? |

Both my shirts have been machine washed twice now with no hint of any colour run. Try a different washing powder.

So the next match she goes on.. she should pour that over her shirt if she thinks its going to rain?
you deserve this next bit :) Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh |
Re: New home shirt
Thanks for that, Kipax
|
Re: New home shirt
Well you did miss the point didnt you.. how the hell is changing your washing powder going to combat the shirt running colours in the rain?

Re: New home shirt
I have been frantically seeking advice re this problem prior to arrival of said shirt, even to the point of asking mother in law:eek: .Soak in cold salt water seems to be the answer, though a couple of more complicated formulas have been given by others.
