Stanley v Darlington Programme

The programme for next week's game is being advertised on ebay at the moment for £3.00 + £1.00 postage. Obviously somebody is trying to make a bit of money out of Stanley. I hope that Stanley issue a special programme to mark the first home game in the league for 44 years and charge £3.00 or £3.50 for it so that whoever is selling the programme (or taking orders for it) does not make a profit.

Who'd be daft enough to order something thats not even been printed yet? Perhaps, as Kipax said, just limit the amount of programmes that can be sold to one person. Also noticed he runs a Rovers Programme website...

You can't really limit the number of programmes sold to one person, they could buy the limit from different programme sellers, and I am sure that a programme seller wouldn't recognise somebody if he went to them twice. I say issue a comemorative programme and charge £3 for it.

I do get people buying in bulk - few occasions had someone want 25 at a time. Think limiting would be a good idea.

The ground will be segregated every game now, so as long as the Programme seller recognises somebody coming more than once, it could be implemented. I don't think overcharging the fans that turn up to game is really fair though...or perhaps the club could intervene with the auction itself. I mean, is he allowed to sell ASFC programmes? It's a bit like ticket touting in my eyes.

Why don't the club themselves put them on E-Bay at a cheaper price?

Hahahaha, that fella is gonna be gutted like a fish. He's gonna have to let the people down that have already ordered, hence negative E-Bay comments. Serves him right

The programme should be a good earner for the Club. Let's hope that it is worth £5.00 and professionally produced without the usual mistakes.

I hope the club print enough for everyone because I don't want to arrive at the game on Tuesday night after walking from Peel Park have to collect my season ticket from a packed club shop and then find there are no programmes left.

Where's my season ticket???
