Andrew Tretton
I guess I can admit to a keen interest in Andrew Tretton's progress as Shelagh and I are sponsoring his home kit this season !!! :D
Can anyone tell me if Andrew is definitely playing for Stanley this season as I have not seen him on the team list for ages and he does not appear to have played in any of the warm up matches ? Any news would be very gratefully appreciated as I live far from Accrington and am not "in the know" so to speak. Thanks ! :not_ripe: CHESTER CITY HERE WE COME - STANLEY ARE BACK !!! :not_ripe: |
Re: Andrew Tretton
Still struggling with his knee. He was due to see a specialist last week, but I haven't heard the result of that.

Re: Andrew Tretton
Thanks for that info Whalley Red.
I had a suspicion he was injured as a match report from last December against Ramsbottom mentioned he was having a run out after knee surgery. I wish Andy a good recovery and hope it won't be too long before his knee heals and he will be back in Stanley's first team ! :D |
Re: Andrew Tretton

Re: Andrew Tretton
Tretton is a fine Centre Half. Played for Shrewsbury, but unlucky with injuries. The fans loved his all action effort. He could have stayed at Hereford, but you offered him 2 years, Turner only wanted to give him a year. If you go to the blue and amber website at Shrewsbury, you will see they are asking about him. He will get a good reception at STFC, we love a trier.

Thanks for this info guys !
I will be keeping my fingers crossed for Andy's recovery.:D |
Re: Andrew Tretton
My daughter sponsored Andy last season and is the proud owner of his home shirt. Met him in the sports bar after the last home match and a nicer bloke you couldn't meet. I reckon if Andy had been fit all season we'd have had the league sown up by Christmas. Great player!
