Goal 500,000

Interesting piece in the Independent today; apparently chances are some time in tonight's matches, the 500,000th goal in the history of the Football League is likely to be scored (the total at the mo stands at just 63 off that number).

I can't help but hope that Stanley's first league goal this season turns out also to be this 500,000th goal as well.
