could not get to Stockport last night due to having to work, and what happens i miss probably the goal of the season ( described on radio lancashire as a real stonker) anybody know if there is any footage on,t tinterweb anywhere ???

When it was on ITV, they used to show the goals from every game ... I presume it is the same this season on Sky Sports.

Just seen Campo score from a similar distance for Bolton and they're going mad on Sky. Thing is, Welchy's goal was better last night. ;)

Cheers Diesel, was trying myself but the whole site seems to be down, if you try just www.socceram.vowmedia.com it won't connect.
How can I save this file to my PC? I can't find a way of saving it

You can't, it's on Youtube, I'll have a look around, see if I can find somewhere where I can host it for download

Just had a look at a couple on there and you do get a download link but they are GVP files, Do I take it you have to install their player as well

Yeah, it runs in Googles own player, which in turn runs in IE, making it pretty pointless

For future reference you can install a script using greasemonkey that gives you a download link to the file on google and youtube, see details HERE
It has its drawbacks though because you download it as a vlc file so you need a VLC player, plenty of free ones I used "VLC media player" you can then get a converter if you wish to convert to avi mpeg wav etc but I didn't bother because I just downloaded yours from rapidshare :)

After watching that on Granada soccer this morning - more please Mr Welch. Definitely a candidate for goal of the decade that one. Wish I could have been there, but work etc etc. Still lets hope it can be repeated more tomorrow night 'gainst the Forest.

just to say i have on a high all weekend , being behind the goals on friday with all the supporters and for Michael to hit one of his rockets is truly special,he has scored them before one at Hull from open play for Macclesfield also from free kicks at Darlington and Kidderminster,lets have some more please:not_ripe: :Banane13: :Banane25:

I had trouble downloading this so went to socceram's site at http://www.socceram.net/ and registered; then it was easy to download it direct. It should be worth a try if you're a Bot (whatever that is!) like me and TM. Thanks, Frank, for the link.
