Predictions for Imps game
 

Ok next game for Stanley and also for all your prediction entertainment is the League 2 game against the Imps down at Sincil Bank this coming Friday night.

This isnt going to be an easy one - Lincoln City are riding high in the top 5 after the first 5 games of the season, 2 draws at home and 3 away victories so far. I seem to remember Stanleys last visit to Lincoln resulted in a 10-1 win - I didnt think at the time we would ever be playing Lincoln City!!! I hope we do em as my brother used to go to Lincoln Uni and I visited Lincoln and its nightlife many a time - pain in the ass to get to but nice place actually - castle and market area is particularly nice so get there early Kipax and have a look around as I know you like to do - but if you do decide to go to the castle, watch out for heart attack hill :)

Anyway what do you think the final score will be?? Deadline for all entries as per normal will be kick off which is 19:45BST this coming Friday, 1st September. Good luck everyone...

Gonna do a Kipax and go for a 2 - 2 draw (and keep everything crossed after seeing em on The Championship this morning cos they looked s*** hot) :)

The Imps of last season were a strong side and set piece specialists but manger keith alexander has gone now. Although i still think they will out muscle us on set plays and i'll go 2-0 to lincoln. i just hope that's the kiss of death for them.

Well this will be one of the first times I've predicted a Stanley defeat but with Craney non-existant & Boco out, I can see us getting battered.

Listened to it on 2br - I think if we hadnt conceded so early on and tried the negative approach of 4-5-1, we might have made more of a go of it but in the end the result was what most people expected and what the following 4 people correctly predicted - a 3-1 defeat. Well done in a round about sort of way :) to : Outback Ozzy, new league leader norwich stanley, shakermaker and Shurm - all getting 5 points as a reward for their efforts.

The league table has been updated now to include everyones predictions for the Lincoln game and you can see it in the normal thread at the top of the forum...
