The season so far

Brilliant, just brilliant.

Coley has got an old man (me) flying up to Partick (top, top supporters).
over to Lincoln, down to Nottingham and the rest.

The team are really starting to sort it all out, play-offs wouldn't be out of the question, but it's all a bonus.

Personally, when I was sitting down 10 mins before the Notts County KO, I just looked around, and thought this isn't Stocksbridge, or Stalybridge, but founder members of the football league, the club that sent Juventus a set of kit. The reason that Juventus play in black and white!

A really nice ground, a proper football ground, with an announcer, not a DJ. And it started to sink in, Coley got us here.

Thanks John, and obviously Paul and the rest

6 points later, it's much better, ain't it great to be a Stanley fan.

I agree totally with what you said Oggy - and don't two games just seem to make all the difference ??? :D :D

Oggy, how right you are, 3 further games into the season and now sitting roughly mid table, following wins over Boston and Wrexham and taking a premiership club to a penalty shoot out, all I can say is thanks to the players, the supporters, the management and the board for taking Stanley into the promised land. I too was at the Partick game, real friendly guys and gals. Can't get to too many away games due to work commitments, but have managed every home match to date. Booked to go to Torquay though, couldn't miss that one (don't know why!). I have been critical in the past about certain members of the team, but with Stanley its always going to be highs and lows. As the song says Cart on Stanley Cart on - League One next year perhaps?

What do you want? When I don't play any music, people say that I like the sound of my own voice. When I play music (chosen by fans on this messageboard) I am trying to be a DJ. What makes a "proper" announcer? Your wish is my command!!!

I think Oggy was probably making a reference to numpties like that prick at Stockport. With all due respect Mr Tannoy Man I couldn't possibly grumble at what you do (cos I cant hear most of the time) ;)

I agree with others here Mr Tannoy Man - I believe you have the mix about right, can't vouch for the Stockport game, but have read enough about it on this MB to know the guy/gal there is a numpty. You carry on as you are, you have it just right

Yes, certainly no offence meant to Mr Tannoy Man.

And, yes it was a reference to that prick at Stockport, and stuff like the muppetry at Mansfield today, when they blast music over the PA when they score (echoes of Colchester).

I suppose with no atmosphere being generated by their fans, they have to do something; but it's an affront, and noise levels are well out of order.
