Im gutted & very proud of Stanley despite losing 6-5 on pens.... must of been the closest & longest 5+ pens i've seen.

I'll head for the kleenex now but im sooo damn proud of our footy team we played so well <applause to the team>

Re: Watford Game

Good bless Stanley. Hold your heads up with pride, your all Heros and you held WATFORD to Six pens to Five. This was your game tonight, you won it in the first half in my book.

Re: Watford Game

Lads you have done the club and the town proud tonight. Holding premiership opposition for 120 minutes and I agree with Kaz - it was an awful way to lose. Never mind, onwards and upwards on Saturday - 3 points again please.

OK, clever clogs Blackburn Raver - tell me how much more those Watford Lads earn p.w. than the Stanley boys, then!

bloody computer kept going down, so I had to go out in the car to listen to it.

parked up in Huncoat beeping my horn every penalty that went in. I really believed we were gonna do it tonight when we banged the first five penalties in.

Oh well, well done th eboys in blue. Wonder how many Watford want to sign come January?

wouldn't know as i am not an accountant or employee (for that matter) of any of the above clubs ......but as half of them were reserves and half youth id say the diffeance would not be all that much to be honest :D ;)

Re: Watford Game

Average premier league earnings 676,000 before bonuses - average div2 earnings 50,000. Not much difference? Come on get real. Even allowing for reserve wages the difference must be at the very least x5.
