Clayton end Roof

Anyone else heard the rumor, that the work will have started on the roof before Christmas. I have heard from Four souces now. The contractors are supposedly to have been in carring out a survey. Lets hope so. :Banane10:

Yeah, I heard some blokes talking about it yesterday. Taking it with a very large pinch of salt myself!

The club stated quite clearly that the roof will be on before christmas. not a rumuor. The club told everyone it will be on before christmas. Although this was in 2004.

The plans have been 'drawn up' for 3/4 years.
Excuse me for being a tad skeptical about it!

if it is true then th eclub would have missed a trick again by not announcing anything as soon as the green light was anywhere near ready to flash. No truth in it I reckon

Folks, rumour has it that if this does come off and the roof is built, SPUD (A.K.A. the saucy secretary) will be bearing his Ar*e in Woolworths window.
For this reason alone we want it to be true
