a quick google lets you know that Chester had him on trial for a month, and that Rochdale let him go after a year with 1 goal in 2 appearances + 28 as sub. Oh well, we know that Coley is good at bringing strikers and wingers on a lot so lets see what he can do with this one. Nobody reckoned much of Gary Roberts when his signing was announced!

at last we've signed a striker. i doubt he'll start on saturday but he should get a run out. now if only we sign a proven striker at this level in january we're on the way....

Leighton McGivern has played for Aberystwyth Town, Rochdale and Vauxhall Motors. It looks like Coley has been after him for a while. This is from the Observer
