The Mighty Barrow, MOTD

Barrow did themselves proud on TV, off the ball left hook from Cotterill puts Bristol player in hospital with suspected broken jaw, coins thrown at goalkeeper.

Shame to see Jaime still playing for them.

Good news is that Jonathan has left to join Mossley AFC, good luck Smithy.

Thinking about it, this shows just how far we've come. I can't imagine playing at a ground like that nowadays. Puts things into perspective really.

teams like barrow are an important part of our recent history and on a personal note i am disappointed that they are in the unibond conference north and not in the football league with us...

With delinquent thugs like Cotterill plaing for them, I'm quite glad they aren't in the league with us.

I think a whoosh is only in order if you are aware of Rob's personal opinion regarding Barrow.

Double fracture confirmed, see above link, also still photos of punch from behind further down page.

On a lighter note Barrow fans are going to try and raise money for a roof at Holker St. end, they seem to have lost the last one.
How about arranging a benefit match, Rob?

From Barrow Official website

18/12 James Cotterill Resigns from Barrow AFC

Barrow AFC have accepted the resignation of James Cotterill from his contract, following his guilty plea to a G.B.H. charge for the incident with Sean Rigg in the Bristol Rovers Cup tie.

Phil Wilson as manager , previously at Lancaster and Southport. Theres a bit of a pattern there !!

The ball spends enough time in the air to qualify for its pilot's licence.

Re: The Mighty Barrow, MOTD

Cotterill got 4 months prison, the club said it was harsh, Graham Taylor (PFA) said it was about right.
I found out on North West Tonight.
