Accrington Web - Big Thank you to Stanley

Just a thank you to Eric Whalley and Rob Heys for allowing me to spend the day at Stanley on Friday. I am a teacher who had to spend a day in "Industry" so I chose to spend some time with the club I support. I found the experience enlightening and thoroughly enjoyable. I just wish more supporters could see the work that goes on in the background. Mick Shultz showed me around the security the club as had to put in place since joining the League and I now realize he is not just keeping warm in the Portacabin in the sky!! In Rob Heys the club has a young Chief Executive who is working to improve the club and listening to ideas from everybody. Eric Whalley continues to work for the club he loves... he is a supporter too!! All in all I came away with a feeling of optimism for the future of Accrington Stanley. The new signings will slot in quickly, hopefully, and we will have a win at Grimsby today. All the best Stanley and thanks again Rob and Eric.
