Telegraph reports that .....it is understood Stanley have agreed a fee of £150 000 with the Welsh club for the player, but should a deal go through, 50 percent would go to his former club Altrincham.


Well we knew about that before hand so that aint no shock. I reckon 150 grand is probably about right, but it makes 200k (apparently) look shocking for Gary.

Anyway, might not be true cos its not on the fishy site.

I would be very surprised if the fee was disclosed.........but hey ho!

Craney to Swansea - ? Will probably come out though because of the half going to Alty, can't keep a secret between three clubs. Will probably more than pay their fine for fielding ineligible players though :cool:

I don't know what the sell on clause says but if Stanley have to give Altrincham 50% it will presumably be 50% of Stanley's profit ie they can deduct the £15,000 approx they paid for him before sharing anything with Alty.

What would it really matter how much we get for a player to us? Everybody who knows Eric will know that he will only do it if its right for the club and if they did tell us how much we got for a player all we could do is say to people at work/school/in the street we got £xxx for Craney or whoever the player is.
