Mates at work said Eric was on North West Tonight (Monday) receiving award.

Quoted as saying Stanley pay players £27 grand a year , while average for League 2 is £56 grand.

Anyone see it? And is the above correct?

Nowt on Fishy site that I can see, (as yet).

He said they paid Stanley players an average of £27k a year. Thought he quoted the league 2 average as £54k, not £56k a year but I might have been wrong. He also said that the club would probably be spending some money in January.

As I understood it the remuneration package at Stanley is quite heavily performance based.

Can't remember whether it was Eric or Coley who said that on the Radio - it was one or the other.

congratulations to all at the club who have put in the hard work that this award rewards.

Good to see we haven't raised the bar on wages! And also good to see that the club is preparing to put its hand in its pocket,
