Kit........

Have we got a problem with the washers or what, Why the **** do they keep playing mix and match with the kit. It looks ****e, it doesn’t look professional, and it’s not going to help our image, not least at this time.

Comments?

Ahhhh.... the T word. I do in fact have copyright of that word and I will seek legal representation for any infringement. ;) :D

I thought as much. :)

However, having viewed the kit again, I think the club can only be credited with working towards the T word. :o

Doug, Bristol wore white shorts, therefore we can't! That's why we wore the blue shorts to avoid kit clashing...:)

Serious note; Zane is correct; home club have 1st choice and wore white shorts, so we have to change. Our only other number shorts (FL rule shorts have to be numbered) are the blue ones. We could not wear the blue shirts as the would clash with Bristol's first choice kit.

However as part of the "minimalist" world of the FES the club do not employ a kit person ( Anthony Mallon does kit on match days + groundsman) and Mick Schultz and his wife wash all the club kits "in their spare time"!!.

Please understand why at time things just don't look "proper", is basically because ASFC are a "no frills, low budget" set up. ALL the staff multi task under the very watchful eye of the Chairman.

Re: Kit........

would the club not consider a third kit?

We have the choice of 3 keepers kits,Green, Grey and Black, and if it's something a bit different then maybe the club would gain in a few sales of it too.

If thats not an option just get enough pairs of the keepers black and red shorts and number the buggers!!! It ain't rocket science!!!

Thanks for clearing that one up, obviously it more acceptable when we understand the reason behind it. Let hope we can afford to have a third set of Shorts made up that won’t clash as much with body of the kit, socks included.

You to Southernred thanks. What would we do without these people giving so much time and effort for the benefit of the Club. Many thanks to all of them.

I didn't realise you were serious Doug. I was just having a laugh and couldn't understand the serious replies.
