Having looked again at the video clip several times, courtesy Redash, it confirms my initial reaction that, despite the conditions, Ian could, and should, have been able to lift the ball sufficiently to clear the oncoming attacker.When he received the ball, the attacker must have been at least ten/fifteen yards away. Hey Ho, we all make mistakes.... let's just be thankful that this one doesn't count!!!! If you make a mistake in your job, wouldn't you just love it if you could go back in time, which is effectively what we are doing, come the rearranged game!!

And, we may have a full squad, plus January additions!!

Having watch the same clip, curiously of Redash (thank you Sir) I would suggest that Ian was a pillock. I like the lad and will continue to support him, I really hope he’s learnt a lesson from it. However, in light of the games abandonment and his embarrassment there’s no harm done.
