Anyway, the two welsh gentlemen, on the left, approached us as we got out of the car at Wrexham. "Stanley fans?", they inquired. "Yes", we replied. "

"It's great to have you back in the League, it's small clubs like ourselves who matter, forget your Liverpools etc."

Anyway it transpired they'd sorted out a memento to present to Stanley, Kipax has taken the photo, thought I'd supply some text.

Feels as though I'd been welcomed to Wrexham by Wales' answer to Jack Barratt and Phil Whalley. Brilliant start to a great day.

Actually Wrexham is so easy to get to from Accrington that I find myself thinking, "You're Welsh, and you know you are."

Again the club should have reported this story.. It was a nice gesture by wrexham fans to present the club with such a trophy? in recognition of our achievement in getting into the league....

The story and the above picture was in the accy observer ..but tha knows...
