I'm sure I saw him play against Everton a couple of seasons back for Blackburn and he was a left back! Looks like he suffered a bad dislocated knee last season on loan at Ipswich and that's why he's only played 4 games since. Hopefully he's fully recovered as the state of the pitch at the FES aint going to help him.

That's no surprise is itTM? The Fishy sites always poor at releasing information and Jiffy never did answer Kippax's request for his source :rolleyes: . Jiffy Bag also reckons there's more signings imminent so the club might be waiting to announce them altogether.........I hope.

I really hope Jiffy Bag's right about all this for the club's and all our sake's. But also for his own sake, because if he isn't, then his credibility is totally blown. He could end up like Denise, condemned to mickey-taking and general derision, everytime he puts in an appearance on here!

Funny though, if the deal was "done and dusted" yesterday and an announcement is "imminent", you'd have thought it would have been announced by now.

Can't even see him coming on loan. Fringe players on the Prem usually go out on loan to Championship sides. There are exceptions though so you never know.

I think the link was caused by Macca changing his birth certificate to suggest he was born in Dundee :D

The thread has been ongoing for a couple of days and I don't see any attempt by Jiffy to say it wasn't Mceveley either.

There are often a variety of reasons for a delay in announcement!!
Dundee deal is done ( and came thru an old accrington player.....) and the second is literally on the verge but is quite a complex deal which will be apparent when we hear the official announcement.
I only want the best for the club and believe me anything I say it is not to wind anyone up but to give us all renewed hope!!!

Jiffy you said an ex stanley player arranged or played a part in the deal of the phantom Dundee player we've signed. Who is this ex Stanley player? Is it John Boggin who I believe is at Dundee and who was at Stanley last season on a non contract deal??
