new striker signed
Coley was livid when this guy went to Hereford last season after apparently securing first refusal with Cardiff on their youngsters. Coley doesn't forget a player he wants.
It has been a crap window for rumour and conjecture but today has made up for it. All in all four promising signings |
Re: new striker signed
Now that's a signing.
Very well done Coley & Jim. |
Re: new striker signed
Excellent signing. Let's hope there's a chance of making it permanent if we like what we see when we've had a good look at him.
|
Re: new striker signed
Steady on boys, it's only a months loan!

Re: new striker signed

Re: new striker signed
Ex-landlord, who comes on here pretending to be all matey, has said on the Hereford board that " it will be a b*gger if Fleetwood helps us to stay up" and that he "wouldn't p*ss on us if we were burning". And yet we welcome him to our forum!!

Re: new striker signed
From Wikepedia: He started the season brightly by scoring Hereford's first league goal since 1997 and a further goal against Chester. In the Carling Cup he bagged an impressive hat-trick against Coventry City. He was also called up to the Wales U21s earlier in the season. However the goals have recently dried up somewhat, and he missed several matches after contracting a virus which caused him to lose nearly a stone in weight.
The club Dietician better get more pies ordered ;) . Well done Fishy site today BTW, please keep it up. |
Re: new striker signed
:D well happy with the squad we have now..onwards and upwards for the accy boys now:D

Re: new striker signed
Fleetwood was class last season for Hereford, i'm suprised they have loaned him out, however on their messageborad it says he hasn't been the same since he had this virus which made him lose a stone early this season..

Re: new striker signed
fleetwood is a class player but as mentioned the virus he had has dented his form of late, hes quick on the ball and reads the game well, only downside is that he sometimes tends to have his head up his arse, maybe this loanout to you will give him the buck up he deserves. good luck for the rest of the season.
ps i thought the welsh gag went out years ago, your not that slow surely |
Re: new striker signed
fleetwood fantastic player, lets get behind him lads, just what we need well done coley. come on you reds.
|
Re: new striker signed
fleetwood, cracking player, well done super john. lets get behind him lads.

Re: new striker signed
Fleetwood scored against us in that draw at Hereford last season. As well as the flu, he seems to have been sidelined since the Bulls resigned Steve Guinan on a month's loan from Cheltenham.
|
Re: new striker signed
great loan signing for ya fleets is terrific when on the top of his game, get well soon fleety.
|
Re: new striker signed
Great signing - let's hope he enjoys it so much that he won't want to go back to Wales
|
Re: new striker signed
A bit of research may be required here. Hereford is not actually in Wales, but of course Stuart Fleetwood is a Welsh under 21 international, and therefore Welsh.
So i'm sure you will all endear yourselves to his heart very quickly with your regular racist comments anbout Welsh people and he is sure to want to stay in Accrington. I find it unlikely he will stay at Accrington beyond the one month loan to be honest, he is only with you in the first place because he is not at present fit and you giving him a few games will get him fit for his return to Edgar Street. Hope you enjoy him, but remember it is very short term, and any signing of Fleetwood would require a much larger fee than has been mentioned on here so far. At least as large as anything you have received for your players so far this season. Curb the Welsh gags boys, not big, not funny. |
Re: new striker signed
Well shiver me timbers!

Re: new striker signed
An early town charter from 1189 granted by King Richard describes it as 'Hereford in Wales'. This charter also gave Hereford city status, the earliest example of city status being granted, since all earlier cities had been so since time immemorial.

Re: new striker signed
There you go Manchester Bull - how much more research do you want? And we don't make racist comments about Welsh people (after all we had Gary Roberts & he was Welsh (ish)- we just make informed observations about where your city is situated :)
|
Re: new striker signed
He's with you to get match fitness, so don't get your hopes up.
Look after him we'll have him back when he's fit. |

Re: new striker signed
Schmoo, the quote oldgobbin is talking about is what one of your Welsh boyos has stated.
I don't think anyone seriously believes Fleetwood will keep us away from the relegation spots. Mullers will. |
