Q&A with Coley
Please dont forget that tonight in the clubhouse there will be questions with Coley. The fishy site says that it starts at 7pm but that will be the start time for the OSC meeting. We will conclude the meeting as quickly as possible and then the questions for Coley can begin.

Re: Q&A with Coley
will some one be keeping a note of questions asked and answers given. av got to work late tonight and would like to know what gets said.

Re: Q&A with Coley
would it not be better to do things the other way round macca, so that coley doesnt have to wait around for the OSC business to be sorted out?
|
Re: Q&A with Coley
The OSC meeting was arranged way before the question & answer session, and the date & time were apparently asked for by Coley so I can't see why he wouldn't be prepared to wait a while if he has to.

Re: Q&A with Coley
Probably wants to get the feel of opiion before he takes the questions so he can prepare for a good answer to them

yes it probably would as in an ideal world I dont want to have x number of people listening to an OSC meeting when they dont want to be there. But, the OSC meetings start at 7pm rather than a more ideal time of 7;30 as one or two of the older members need to get away earlier for various reasons. As Accy mad pointed out, this session was requested by Coley (before we asked for it, I hasten to add) so yes he would able to hang around. There is a weight watchers meeting in the clubhouse that does not finish until 8pm. As yet, 17:49 I have had no confirmation that they have been made provision for. There isn't enough room for the OSC meetings as it is when they are in. So my preferred day would have been any other. But Coley has spoken to somebody who has put out this date so we will go along with it. See you all in an hour |

http://stanleysupporters.co.uk/index.php?menu=home maybe you would like to take a moment and register for the forum as well for OSC debate when enough people use it. |
Re: Q&A with Coley

Re: Q&A with Coley
Rob thanks for typing up that lot - much appreciated seeing as I cant be there. I did try and think up of a question to ask but couldnt think of one in time.
Coley is a legend Jimbo T :horn8:blower |
Re: Q&A with Coley
Rob, thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to type up your notes from the meeting, to enable those of us unable to attend to read what is a fascinating insight.:)
For fans such as myself (living over 200 miles from Accrington), attendance at one of these events is very difficult unless I take holiday, though I have to say that I would love to have attended. I thought it was very interesting to read Coley's comments on the Roberts and Craney transfers (something I would definitely have asked him about) and to know that the situation had been covered, until injuries managed to upset the applecart !   I needed little convincing before I became a Stanley supporter that Stanley would be my type of club - and I need even less now ! :D Regardless of which division or league we are in, I will follow Stanley till I die, and I take my proverbial hat off to Coley and everyone at Stanley - staff, players, supporters alike - for everything that has been achieved and will no doubt be achieved ! :D :D :D Incidentally Rob, it was very nice to meet you at Barnet on Saturday - and I may make it up to the FES for at least one match this season, God willing. :) :not_ripe: GO STANLEY GO !!!!! :Banane03: |
Re: Q&A with Coley
Yes, thanks Rob for taking the time to convey Coley's answers to the world that is Accrington Stanley, trust you're working on the translation for the Stanley asian website. :)
Coley talked sense, and why not, managing Stanley must be like being the utmost fan while trying to keep your head screwed on, and dealing with the reality. I particularly liked the way he agreed with earlier postings of mine ;) , in that he buys footballers, not fit lumps who can kick a ball. His, and Evil's, assessment of super Paul Mullin is spot on and cleverly avoided the fine wine cliche. Thanks again Rob, and thanks John. |
