Darlington

Are many of you coming then?

For those of you coming by car, best place to park is at the Stadium, although it costs £5.

Away fans are welcome in the TinShed Bar, at the ground.

Have to say I'm expecting 3 points, so if you'd just like to roll over and die, it'd be much appreciated.

Does that include admission?

Re: Darlington

Nope.

Its only 16 quid to get in.

You could try parking two miles away from the stadium, as everywhere else you would get a ticket.

Just trying to be helpful

Re: Darlington

No, the help is appreciated.

But it's £21 to do it safely if you're on your own :( .

Re: Darlington

That's a disgrace. Fleecing the fans yet again.

Re: Darlington

There is nothing we can do about the parking charge, that was set by the Council. But £5 beats a £40 fine for parking on a no matchday parking road, which all of the roads in the vicinity are (again, down to the council)

As for the £16, thats a competetive price to sit in a vast, all seated, empty arena.

Kids under 7 are free, 7-11 are £5, 11-16 are £7, so bring your sprogs!

Re: Darlington

16 quid and you can`t even stand up.

Hope your stewards are`nt the kind who go round telling people to sit down.

There won`t be loads travelling up there on a Tuesday night but the Ultras will be coming to brighten your place up and make a lot of noise under your lovely roof.

And NO ! Stanley will not roll over and die, we`ll be battling you to the final whistle so don`t think the 3 points is a forgone conclusion.

Fraid they are! Or were last season on a Tuesday night when there was less than 300 County Fans in a stand that holds over 3,000!

Re: Darlington

I know, its ridiculous isn't it?

Telling people to sit down in an all seater stadium, whatever will they think of next?

Zero 19-02-2007 12:11

Re: Darlington

Why build all seater stadia.
Flippin Posture Nazi`s.
The only good comments we`ve had about the ground this year is the fact that there`s somewhere to stand up.
Standing up is Ultra Philosophy.
Sitting down is for pensioners.

Re: Darlington

Its like this. The rule is that you sit in an all seater stadium.

It is dangerous to stand up and dance about with no crush barriers. If you trip and fall, you've got a long way to tumble at our ground, bouncing off peoples heads as you go.

There are no special rules for "Ultras", you'll get thrown out if you continually stand.

Re: Darlington

We had this 'conversation' months ago, but unfortunately some people think that the rules apply to everyone but them. Some people have to learn the hard way I'm afraid.
