Conference relegation battle

won't affect us hopefully but just for those Northern based teams who are going to be in the conference next season

possibly losing three at the bottom and still chances for York and Morecambe to go up.

Also some would say good riddance to Grays as they were/are a bankrolled team but we made a lot of friends in our two battles with Grays last season and for the real fans down there I say good luck to them.

Also hope that Morecambe finally make it this year as it will be good to renew the hostilities! But it has been good to lord it over them for the first time ever that we really are the pride of Lancashire as far as our two teams are concerned.

Bit too far there Macca, Morecambe - non league 4ever, don't besmirch the best banner ever. One point and you're mellowing out. ;)

Agree with you about Grays, though. The only team that were near us, football wise, last season.

Re: Conference relegation battle

I went to see the Forest Green Rovers v Morecambe match on Saturday and Morecambe looked a good side to me. I think they must be in with a good chance of at least reaching the play-offs (when it is all a bit of a lottery) and possibly getting promoted to League Two, though I am sure that Oxford United will have a big say in that !

Incidentally,it is good to see Forest Green Rovers playing so much better this season :D , and Jim Harvey is really getting together a decent side there, after they had a disastrous start to this season with Gary Owers at the helm.

FGR is a very friendly club and have good facilities at The New Lawn, though it is very cold at the top of that hill !!! :D
