Just to let you know as this has now been tested

The OSC and the Oaklea have teamed up so that anyone who has a OSC members card can now get a 15% discount on drinks on Saturday home games from 12 to 7pm if i remember correctly (will double check this tomorrow)

Just show your card to the bar staff for any drinks order and ask for you discount and you get it 15% cheaper

Based on current prices you will be able to get a pint of fosters for under £2 or a pint of john smiths smooth for £1.70 with the discount


See you on 17th of March before and after the Torquay game ;)

well mentioned John as I just alluded to this in a different thread and was about to PM Jay as to the current state of affairs.





As a slight aside, this seasons cards were inferior to the usual ones and we are well aware of that. They were only distributed because we were into Novemeber without any alternative. 2007-2008 will see a return to the laminated cards I am positive. Mainly because you can get cheaper beer with it and it will get rapidly deteriorated if it has to be repeatedly removed from your wallet/purse.


Just in case John,


you have a members badge and know what it looks like, would that be a viable alternative just because the cards are a bit faulty? I may donate three or four free badges to the staff so that they all wear one and are aware of what they look like (subject to the relevant approval).

Excellent if the club won't do something I will be supporting the Oakleigh for pre-match beers plus you can watch the early Premiership game if it takes your fancy.

Even the bouncers are friendly unlike the ones at the ground.

I'm not waiting till the next match, Rob I saw Steve on his quest around the pubs today I know he got the Arden to open early or we could have met in the Oakleigh this Saturday.

yeah deffo the arden for this one.

I spoke to the landlord of the arden tonight and he knew nowt about it, but he does now!!!

I saw Steve waiting outside the Arden at 11:40am said he was going to the Recency until the Arden opened, guess he never made it back.:D
