Predictions for Pirates game
 

Next up for the Prediction league and the Stanley is the re-arranged League 2 home fixture against the Pirates of Bristol Rovers at the FES. They completely swashbuckled us down at their Memorial Stadium earlier this season four nowt - can we rob the pirates this time or will we find ourselves deeper in Trouble Sea come the final whistle?

Deadline for all entries for this game is as normal, kick off which is 19:45GMT this coming Tuesday, 6th March

Next Tuesday, it's 45 years to the day since the old Stanley resigned from the football league. I hope we can mark the day with three points to help prevent a similar thing happening again. 2-1 to the Stanley please, Jimbo.

After playing Lincoln off the park in the 2nd half then making a poor team look great on Saturday you`ve got to hope and pray we see the former. Can`t see many Gasbags making it up on a Tuesday so come on Stanley fans do your best to be there.

I so hope I am wrong here, but like Glosterred, I was at Bristol on that freezing cold afternoon two days before Christmas, and the vibes are not good.

Here is my prediction :

Accrington Stanley 1
Bristol Rovers 2

In horse racing parlance, I am still a "maiden" after 29 starts in the Tipster competition, so it will be a major shock if I register a win at last !!! :eek: :D

Sorry Doug but your prediction was 1 minute too late going off the timestamp of your post so I couldnt include it.

I have now updated the league table to include the 1 all draw earned on Tuesday night against Bristol Rovers at the FES. Couple of winners on this game too who gained 5 points and correctly predicted 1-1 - they were Red-Osbornello and Tommy McQueen - well done guys.
