Two down

Just been wondering which two clubs with a realistic chance of going down would you prefer to see sink into the Conference and why?

Mine would be BOSTON cause of a comment I read about on their messageboard (quoting their manager )which was somewhat arrogant, and secondly MACCLESFIELD cause of Ince.
Needless to say we will have Hereford nobodies on here wishing our demise.

I would have to agree with you I think John, also would hate to see Torquay go down, but its not looking too good for them is it?

Personally don't want Boston to go down because I know the manager. Suprised at the arrogant thing because he is a very down to earth bloke. Gets carried away a bit during games not unlike JC but the couple of occasions I have met him he seemed like one of the lads. As a club though I don't think Boston have a lot of friends in the football world.

Seriously though, there's a few good decent clubs down in the thick of it with us that I would be sorry to see go down such as Torquay.
It's Boston & Macc for me though.
We need Wrexham for at least 6 points next season :)

I would think the only reason people would want Torquay in their division is that you hope the away match is on a Bank Holiday weekend :D

Wrexham and Macc for me, as i have a soft spot for Torquay, but it doesnt look good for them, mind you i think if we survive it will only be by the skin of our teeth or even less.

Re: Two down

Macc have got to go - they are always around the bottom of the league, have a crap ground but have been there long enough to not have, and Ince is a tosspot. Macclesfield, you've had your moments now step aside and let somebody else have your spot. Start looking forward to the Altrincham derby if they can stop around long enough.

Wrexham - I kinda like seeing the big clubs slipping through the leagues. Oxford stay in the Conference and Wrexhams nice shiny new stadium can join em.

Boston - Now they are a set of cheats, legimately. They should have been thrown out when Steve Evans was first caught out cheating the books and the system. Again, another non-league team who have done well to have a few years up there but its time to step aside.

Any two of the three. I didn't do Torquay this year so I want to do it next season. If we do go down then we're taking them with us :D

I think the only thing they did differently to all the rest of the clubs in the football league is get caught.

If we lose wrexham - we always will have Dagenham and Redbridge, they were good for 6 points in our conference days

Wrexham and Torquay for me - Torquay because I hate the arrogant office staff who do not know how to treat disabled supporters properly and Wrexham well they are like Chester and Hereford - WELSH! although we have taken 6 points of both this season so maybe should be Boston and Macclesfield then.

When the news broke that we may get a points deduction, Boston's manager was first on the radio ranting on about how we should have the maximum possible deduction etc etc - also when we played them here our stewards had to stop him hammering down a door to stop him from getting to the ref, yea he's a really nice bloke:rolleyes:. So, Boston are a prime candidate for me for the drop
I would love Macc to go down - because of the arrogance of Paul Ince and his cheating players, specially the one who deliberately broke Leighton McGivern's ankle in the game at their place
