Had a smile when I saw this on the BBC website -

Ipswich will this week give a trial to Accrington Stanley winger Sean Doherty. (News of the World)

Maybe they will find something that we've never seen and offer us £200,000 now that would be something to smile about.:)

i think doherty has alot of potential but we aint gonna see any of it if he just sits on the bench

a fit and happy Doherty would be a great asset to the side. An unfit depressed Doherty wasn't even an asset to Southport. I really hope that the real Sean Doherty turns up for the new season.

It was in the News of the World about Doherty as well. I cant work it, why would somebody from two leagues higher want to take a guy who cant even get a game here? Port Vale didn't rate him, we dont rate him, Southport didn't rate him.

Has Jim Magilton got some sort of magic potion to fix him?

It's been done with players before, Andy Todd is a prime example, I just wish he does it at Ipswich and we get a fee, enough for a roof perhaps.

Funnily enough, who was at the FES yesterday, the one and only Gary Roberts, maybe a swapo for Sean?????
