Being that he is over 12,000 miles away, I think he dare and anyway, its true. Grimsby does smell of fish, jeez you should know living where you do.

But I still think of Grimsbyites as reeking of fish with scales in their hair.:D

Well this is a bit much!!!! All Grimsby Town fans wear that very special smell as a badge of honour you know. Anyway we thrashed you lot at Blundell Park in Decemeber and see no reason why we wont do that again next saturday. Our season has been poor with loads of ups and downs but we seem to be getting it together ready for next season. Anyway heres to a good a game and a mariners victory. My prediction 2-1 to the magic mariners. ;)

Would prefer if you didn't quite "get it together" until next season - we need the points more than you on Saturday.

I was taking offence on behalf of my Grimsby Avitar though it hardly compares with some of the deep sea fish I saw on the quay at Grimsby Docks in the butt ugly stakes.

I know of at least one person from near Grimsby who spends half his year in New Zealand.

I wondered what the smell was when the wind was south easterly. Living over 45 miles away that possibility never occured to me.

Still it has its compensations as my after match post proved I would have been the fourth Stanley fan home after the Grimsby away game subject only to the three supporters from Hull.

Why are you so anti Grimsby ? What did you do that was so wrong that you got deported to NZ ? What is so wrong with the smell of fish ? It's got to be better than the smell of millions and millions of flatulent sheep and their minders. At least the fish didn't create the hole in the ozone layer.
