If you can't get to Gay Meadow then fear not. We'll be there on your behalf to bring full match commentary on the game.
We'll have all the usual stuff including the thoughts of Coley and insightful analysis(!) from the hobbling Karen Fazackerley...

Also, I'd like to get some of your opinions on the current situation (how do you think we'll fair in the game, what would be your points target for safety, who should be retained for next season etc etc etc) and put them into the programme (before, during or after the game). You can reply to this thread, PM me or email [email protected] - anybody who does will get a mention:)

Sorry I don't possess a waterproof radio, however I will keep you notified by sign language of the score. I just hope it's not 2-0 at any point :D

I have a question Dan if you can answer it. Will there be a change in the live commentary next year, ie cover the away team as priority.

A couple of things to add.
1. Can somebody in a lofty position of authority and technological advancement please put the "W" in Shrewsbury in the thread title? It's driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Mel u disappoint me. Tut tut tut. I thought you were an avid listener :D
3. As far as next season goes, I'm not entirely sure. I entirely understand (and say it quietly, agree!!!!) that away commentaries would be great, but at the end of the day it's about money and sponsorship and all sorts of stuff. Doing all Clarets games has served the station incredibly well, and I'm not sure it'd be viable commercially or listener-wise to change it now. Having said that I don't have a crystal ball, and get to know things about a week after the cleaner does, so I can't say owt conclusively! :)

PLUS of course the current service of no Burnley game = Stanley commentary will continue (by the end of this season I think we'll have done about 15 - who else can say that?????)

Well at least if that format continues after next season it will be good news for the Stanley fans, the Premier League games don't get played much on Saturdays so Stanley will not clash as much with the Clarets :D :D :Banane02:

Just for those who'll be listening on t'internet, the streaming is working as of 7pm Friday. (winamp and windows media player)

I'll be in the smokers club today, bloody wife has a training course arranged on a piffling saturday!
I thought 'well I'll take her to that then drive down with the kids. Nope, She wants picking up at 1pm and then taking shopping! I told her to get a bloody taxi home and we'll do shopping tomorrow' but that wasn't good enough apparently.
