Strikers Released
Kevin Cambell realeased by Cardiff Lloyd Oswuwa released by Brentford anybody think there good enough for Stanley.

Re: Strikers Released
Kevin Campbell would be an excellent signing but Cardiff are notoriously high payers at the mo and he is a 'thoroughbread' and would be on good wages. I'd hazard a guess he'll go to Charlton to replace Darren Bent.
I dont want the other guy cos I Cant even spell his name without rechecking it, let alone shout it out. Be okay if Johnathan Woss woz a fan though. |
Re: Strikers Released
Lloyd Owusu was at Sheffield Wednesday. Apart from scoring against Sheff U with his first touch for them he was not a success there. I remember him feeling unwell and taking on lots of water in matches.
He went on to Reading then back to Brentford but I don't think he was able to replicate the success of his first spell there |
Re: Strikers Released
I think Campbell will struggle to find another club. He's 37 now and seems to struggle with injuries.

Drew Broughton released by Chester is this the league 2 striker who Coley is looking at as reported in Observer.

Re: Strikers Released

Could just be the tough dirty dolloper we need then also Craig Short has been released by Sheff. Utd, 2 tough dirty dollopers front + back.

Re: Strikers Released
Just seen that Chester paid Broughton;s final year on his contract up so maybe we cuold afford this lad as he's already been paid upfront.

Re: Strikers Released
Was he the guy who scored the winner for Boston at their place? If so he looked a handfull to me.

Re: Strikers Released

Re: Strikers Released
Yeh remember that just what we missed countless times this season at the other end off the pitch what our goals scored column could have been.
