Does anyone know what the position is? Have they signed a new deal, or are they on their way?

Really hope your 'source' is right Ben and they're both gonna stay - I know there's been no news from the club on these two yet but let's just hope no news is good news:confused:

I'd like to see Browny stay, possibly at the expense of Mangan. Mangan may be a super-sub, but Browny could be a super-sub who can actually finish, and would be a good option from the bench.

As for Leam, I think he is vastly under-rated and never lets anybody down when called upon. One of my favorite players and really hope to see him in Red next season.

Just on fishy site. Leam & Browny signed for a year. Mango, Ventre & Grant have gone.

Says Mangan has left the club to find regular first team football. Can't see him finding that at Conference level or above.

I've never been Mangan biggest fan (based on his discipline) but James has a point that maybe he could've been offered a contract with a view to loaning him to somebody, maybe a Conference newcomer like Droylesden.

Give him the experience and the football and maybe he'd come good.

As far as Danny Ventre is concerned I thought he did a good job as a 'filler-inner' at Conference level and could have done the same job again at League 2. Unfortunately he got injured when he got his chance and football doesn't give many second chances. Hard lines Danny but you will get a good chance somewhere else I am sure, and then you will shine.

Tony Grant - suffered from the same affliction as which besieged Gordon Armstrong and to some extent Paul Cook. Bigger things were expected from someone with his pedigree and it just didn't show when he played for us. I have never seen somebody (at this level) control a all in his own penalty area when defending a corner and create as much time as what I saw him do this season. It was a joy to watch at times BUT the space he created never actually gave the team anything as the ball was invariably wasted - be it crap pass or receivee not being on the right wavelength. But beyond that, if you don't get on wit Coley then you might as well book your holidays cos you aint staying. Good luck Tony

OMG my doughter will be inconsolable. She loved Andy Mangan.

Mrs Ozzy says she's not coming back coz hes gone. Bloody Hell its football for goodness sake.

Personally I wish all three all the best for the future, but we cannot stand still on sentiment. I personally would love to see a tall attacker to complement PM.

We shall wait and see eh!

lost three huge characters in the sqaud over this season in craney, roberts and mangan

how many characters do we have left in the team, after all thats what coley has always said he likes to have in his dressing room and always gets commented on by loanees etc the laughs they had with the lads

Mangan - a huge character? Maybe at first but unfortunately he just became a huge liability & with his temperament I don't think he'll ever really make it anywhere other than conference north level. Sorry to see Danny go, I know he could be a bit daft but did a decent job as a fringe player when he needed to. Really relieved to hear David & Leam have signed, I was beginning to think they'd go when we hadn't heard anything by the deadline they were all given. Squads shaping up nicely now - would be the icing on the cake if we could get Godwin on a season long loan as well :)

as good as the signings are we really need a squad full of similar players.

Its all well and good having a good first XI but if there is nothing on the bench then we will struggle. Keeping the faith though because so far we have three top notch signings and Godwin really would top that off. I fear that Coley and Partick fans won't want Godwin to come or we'll never see how good King Arthur is

I presume Miles will be number 9 with the release of Mangan, and King Arthur will be our new number 1.
