Any News On Godwin?

Just wondered if anybody had heard anything yet on whether Godwin is coming back to Stanley?:cool:

Says in this evenings Telegraph, Stanley are waiting on a response from our second team Liverpool - all we can do is sit and twiddle thumbs

He signed on a season long loan at Hartlepool about ten minutes ago:

Erm, you're going to find Antwi very special then, for a 19 year old his presence is something else, his attitude is enthusiastic and infectious.

Bad news about Godwin. Is there only me getting worried about the defence? I know there are still 6 weeks till the season starts but we only have one centeral defender. I had a feeling that Godwin was never going to come back, after all, he is a class defender and needs to be tested at a higher level then league two, surely now coley has to go out and get two or three more defenders soon, we also can't afford to be waiting around for this scots guy with the dodgy hip as he might never pass a medical even when fit. Conceeding goals nearly cost us our league status last season so come on John and find us another few gems to tighten the defence.

If he wasn't rejoining us it was important to find out this week at latest.

We must move on to other targets fast and I do not mean an ex SPL defender who may or may not be fit on the eve of the season.

Whatever else you think of Nelson he is technically a very good player and could probably hold his own in the Championship so this hardly likely to happen.
