Away match long weekend
 

Much has been said in't clubhouse about the fact that we cannot have our away mucky weekend due to Torquay being relegated. I would like to offer an alternative to that. How's about the game with Dagenham and Redbridge on the 13th Oct - staying overnight Friday and Saturday in Southend? Or does anyone have any other ideas.

How far between the two? Daggers is inside the m25 and southend way over to the coast..

last time we went to daggenham in car we arrived about 9am.. got the tube into london and had half a day there before getting back .... went in the pub next to station at daggenham and asked for a pint of bitter.. she said well we have it.. but you wont like it.. it's off.... OK we said.,... and left :)

its 31 miles between the 2 places its also international weekend with england v estonia on the same day in the 2008 euro qualifier so the ko time might alter and some teams change the game to a friday night

Whoa - this is sounding better by the minute. someone mention it to Fraser Eagle and see if they have contacts down there
